NEW YORK — Moderna has consolidated its corporate communications business with a cross-agency Interpublic Group Dxtra team.

As Moderna’s corporate agency of record, the cross-discipline team will include talent from PR firms Weber Shandwick and Golin and Jack Health, all of which are part of IPG’s PR and marketing group, Dxtra.

Laura Schoen, Dxtra Health’s chief healthcare officer, will lead the effort to drive Moderna’s reputation globally and expand awareness of the pharmaceutical giant’s leadership in mRNA technology, used to produce its Covid vaccine.

The effort will include activating and engaging key internal and external audiences, including employees, consumers, healthcare providers, vaccine recipients and policymakers.

Moderna previously worked with FTI Consulting and Ruder Finn.

“We are excited to partner with Dxtra Health as we look to further educate the world about Moderna’s mRNA technology and its promise to transform the future of human health,” said Kate Cronin, Moderna’s chief brand officer. “Dxtra Health’s strategic leaders, creative focus and global footprint will ensure Moderna elevates our communications around the world.”

With surging demand for its Covid vaccine, Moderna hired Cronin as its chief brand officer last June, charging the former Ogilvy Health CEO with guiding its communications at a time of immense growth.
