Behavioural finance expert and multi-asset veteran Joe Wiggins has joined UK-based research group Fundhouse as chief investment officer.
Wiggins (pictured), a multi-manager and multi-asset specialist, has assumed the role after spending just over a year at St. James’s Place as director of liquid markets.
Prior to that, Wiggins had served as head of portfolio management and multi-manager strategies at Aberdeen Standard Investments, now known as Abrdn. Wiggins spent six years with the company having joined from Stamford Associates in early 2014.
Wiggins announced the move on LinkedIn and said it reunites him with Rory Maguire, managing director of Fundhouse. Maguire co-founded the firm in 2007 in South Africa before launching the UK version in 2010.
Fundhouse was approached for further comment but had not responded at the time of publication. In Wiggins’s company biography, it states he will focus on clients in the UK and Europe and focus on ‘enhancing their investment outcomes’.
